BIM Manager / Digital Design Lead

London | Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) Full-time | Permanent Competitive salary + Benefits

We're hiring a BIM Manager / Digital Design Lead for our client – a global consultancy delivering high-profile data centre, life science, and commercial projects across the UK, Europe, India, and the Middle East. In this key role, you'll lead BIM strategy, manage project delivery, drive digital innovation, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to shape the future of data-driven design. You'll collaborate with global offices, oversee digital processes, manage software contracts, and play a crucial role in business growth and technology integration.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and lead BIM implementation across projects
  • Coordinate MEP & BIM workflows, systems, and teams
  • Draft and oversee BIM Execution and Information Management Plans
  • Evaluate and integrate new digital tools and workflows
  • Work across international teams to standardise and optimise processes
  • Contribute to marketing, innovation, and business development

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in BIM or digital design leadership (MEP focus preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD
  • Experience managing BIM teams, processes, and software
  • Skilled in project management, team leadership, and digital transformation
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

🔍 Technical Skills

  • • Design tools: Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, SKM, ETAP, Easypower
  • • Workflow platforms: Microsoft Office, BIM360
  • • Team coordination experience (3–10 engineers, local & international)

🎯 Bonus if you:

  • • Have Data Centre or clean tech design experience.
  • • Can independently deliver design packages from scratch or based on specifications.
  • • Are confident in defining scopes of work, reviewing value engineering, and managing design timelines.
  • • Bring commercial awareness and a sharp eye for quality in both your work and others'.
