Description : The MEP Revit Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining Revit models to ensure accurate and efficient design and construction documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP systems and proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
Responsibility : • BIM Coordination: Coordinate and manage the integration of MEP systems within the Revit environment, ensuring compatibility and resolving any clashes.
• Model Development: Create, modify, and update Revit models for MEP systems, adhering to project specifications and standards.
• Documentation: Produce detailed design and construction documents, including plans, sections, and elevations, utilizing Revit.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular model reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
• Standards Maintenance: Develop and maintain Revit standards, templates, and libraries for MEP systems.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to team members on Revit and BIM best practices.
• Project Coordination: Assist in project scheduling, coordination meetings, and progress tracking.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address design and coordination issues proactively to minimize project risks and delays.
Qualifications : • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEP coordination and Revit modelling within the construction or engineering industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant software is a plus.
