🏗 About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate Graduate or Intermediate Sustainability Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy working on critical, sustainable projects across sectors such as data centres, healthcare, laboratories, airports, and commercial buildings.
You will play a vital role in driving sustainable design across all project stages — from concept to post-occupancy. You’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams, contribute technical input through building physics simulations, and advise on environmental assessments using frameworks like BREEAM, LEED, and WELL.
This is a great opportunity to be part of an organisation that sees sustainability as an integral part of performance, resilience, and innovation — not a bolt-on.
🧭 Responsibilities
- Carry out building physics consultancy services using CFD and energy modelling tools
- Conduct environmental assessments (e.g., BREEAM, LEED, WELL) across the design lifecycle
- Translate technical concepts into clear and practical design recommendations for clients and stakeholders
- Prepare or contribute to design specifications, reports, and sustainability submissions
- Stay up to date with industry developments, modelling methodologies, and standards
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work for quality and compliance.
- Participate in client-facing meetings and workshops
- Manage time effectively across multiple concurrent projects
- Take full accountability for the discipline’s output and client satisfaction
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
